Photos from Hulu’s upcoming comedy movie, Quiz Lady, have emerged. The movie, which premieres on November 3, stars Golden Globe winners Sandra Oh and Awkwafina. In the photos, which you can see here, you can see the main characters going on an epic adventure to enter a game show. Will Ferrell is also seen in one of the flicks, indicating his character role in the film. Quiz Lady will be released under 20th Century Studios.
“In the original film, a brilliant but tightly wound, gameshow-obsessed young woman, Anne, and her estranged, train-wreck of a sister Jenny, must work together to help cover their mother’s gambling debts,” the logline reads. “When Anne’s beloved dog is kidnapped, they set out on a wild, cross-country trek to get the cash the only way they know how: by turning Anne into a bona-fide gameshow champion.”
Quiz Lady is directed by Jessica Yu from a screenplay written by Jen D’Angelo. The movie is also led by Jason Schwartzman, Holland Taylor, Tony Hale, and Will Ferrell.
