The production for Riverdale‘s final season is officially underway. Ted Sullivan, the writer and executive producer of this very series, greenlit this statement through an Instagram post. This season the Riverdale crew is filming in British Colombia. Although there’s no word on its release date, sources say it should drop sometime next year.
The former CEO of The CW, Mark Pedowitz, announced the end of Riverdale and confirmed it wouldn’t be cut short. The network hopes to leave Riverdale fans with a perfect ending.
Based on the characters from the Archie comics, Riverdale stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Vanessa Morgan, Casey Cott, Charles Melton, and Drew Ray Tanner.
