Free Guy is making its way to Disney+. The movie will premiere on small screens worldwide on February 23, 2022.
The news was announced in a new video of upcoming releases coming to the streaming platform.
The synopsis reads:
“In Free Guy, a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game decides to become the hero of his own story, one he rewrites himself,” reads the official synopsis of the film. “Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way … before it is too late.”
Free Guy is directed by Shawn Levy. The script is written by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn, based on a story by Lieberman.
