The production for Scream 6 has come to a close. According to ComingSoon, the Paramount horror film has added its finishing touches in Montreal, Quebec. Scream 6 is set to premiere in theaters on March 31, 2023.
The first installment of Scream debuted in 1996, becoming one of the most popular films in the horror genre. Unfortunately, once Halloween (2018) made its way to theaters, it started earning a higher gross and following.
Courteney Cox and Hayden Panettiere will reprise their roles as Gale Weathers and Kirby Reed. Other actors that’ll be diving back into their characters are Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown.
The synopsis reads that Scream 6 will continue with “the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.”
