Some footage from the second season of Shadow and Bone is now available for optical consumption.
Set to premiere on March 16th, 2023 via Netflix, the new photos will give fans a brand-new look at returning cast members like Jessie Mei Li, Archie Renaux and Ben Barnes. They’ll also get a peek at new characters from this season, including Lewis Tan and Anna Leong Brophy. The series takes admiration from Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse novels. The show itself is created and executive produced by Oscar nominee Eric Heisserer.
As per the synopsis,
“In Season 2, Alina Starkov is on the run. A beacon of hope to some and a suspected traitor to others, she’s determined to bring down the Shadow Fold and save Ravka from ruin. But General Kirigan has returned to finish what he started.”
