The title of horror film Smile‘s sequel has been revealed amidst fans being on the edge of their seats for the new chapter in the movie’s franchise. According to CBR, it’ll be stamped as Smile Deluxe. The film will follow a young woman who witnesses the death of her friend who is attacked by a paranormal entity. As time progresses, she starts to question life while unspeakable events are happening around her. Director Parker Finn returns to film. Kyle Gallner will reprise his role as Joel. The movie also stars Naomi Scott and Rosemarie DeWitt.
The first installment of the Smile was released in 2022 and considered a box office hit. The movie generated $217 million on a $17 million budget. Talk about a return on investment, especially if it is categorized as a horror film.
