Fandago has taken to social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram to announce and advertise a special screening refresher. The first chapter of IT will be screening in theaters for two nights in August, with a special post-credit reveal of eight minutes of new footage from the forthcoming sequel! This surprise is brought to us by the partnership between Fandango and Warner Brothers. Tickets are on sale now!
In just opening day IT collected $123.1 million, with a budget of only $35 million. The film was recognized as the highest opening weekend for a September, for fall season release, and for a horror movie. Ultimately, IT: Chapter One holds the title of highest-grossing horror movie of all time.
Chapter 2 will officially be in U.S theaters September 6th, 2019. The upcoming sequel is written by Gary Dauberman and Andy Muschietti returns to helm.
