The cast of Snoop Dogg’s upcoming sports comedy, The Underdoggs, has been updated with Tika Sumpter, Mike Epps, George Lopez, and Andrew Schulz.
The Underdoggs starring Snoop Dogg is a comedy about Jaycen “2J’s” Jenning, a former NFL player who agrees to coach a youth football team instead of going to prison as part of his attempt to restart his career. Directed by Charles Stone, the film includes child actors Jonigan Booth, Adan James Carrillo, Kylah Davila, Caleb Dixon, Alexander Michael Gordon, and Shamori Washington.
While we wait, Snoop is diligently working on a project with Dr. Dre called Missionary. The 50-year-old rapper mentioned the album would debut in November; however, he also teased that something special for the 30th anniversary of his first album, Doggystyle, is coming soon.
The Underdoggs is currently in production, and it is scheduled to premiere on October 20th, 2023.
