The trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, presented by Paramount Pictures, premiered yesterday at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. While watching the trailer, the audience immediately noticed one of Sonic’s notable rivals: Shadow.
After the fight between Knuckles in the last film, Shadow’s appearance in the new Sonic The Hedgehog movie will relive childhood memories to some viewers. This is huge for PlayStation gamers, as reports said Knuckles and Tails will be side-by-side going to combat with Sonic. This is very similar to the plot of the “Sonic Heroes” video game that took storm for Playstation consoles. The trailer has yet to make it to the public eye.
According to Discussing Films, the new trailer includes Jim Carrey reprising his role as the mad scientist Egg Man who has a heavier set than he did in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The movie depicts the self-titled game that was released in 2005, and relates to the story of rival Shadow.
Viewers are eager to see who is playing the voice of Shadow. Unfortunately, the cast list hasn’t been announced and has left fans thinking about the perfect candidate for this role. There are rumors that this role was given to Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen.
So fans get ready because the Sonic saga is getting more and more intriguing.
