Dramatic Labs has halted the release of Star Trek: Resurgence for a second time. Initially, the sci-fi-inspired video game was supposed to release next month. But now, Dramatic Labs is looking to drop it by May.
The reason for the delay is unknown. However, the new time frame was referenced in a recent tweet of PG Gamer Magazine’s latest issue. The game’s official Twitter account announced it’ll drop sometime in May instead of May 23rd. The first pushback was due to adding finishing touches.
Star Trek: Resurgence was first announced during The Games Awards in 2021. It’ll be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, X|S, and PC.
Whatever the reason for its holdup, Dramatic Labs asserts that their “love and admiration” for Star Trek plays a role in their decision-making.
