For three consecutive days, this year’s The Strength of A Woman Festival and Summit reigned in divine energy. On the last day (April 14), powerhouse musicians like Coco Jones, Muni Long, Lucky, Daye, Summer Walker, and Ms. Lauryn Hill performed at the State Farm Arena. The event, presented by Mary J. Blige and Pepsi, was hosted in Atlanta, Georgia. Blige and the soda pop company also partnered with Live Nation Urban for the festival.
Coco Jones gave her all in a live performance of “ICU” while Muni Long sang her heart out in “Hrs & Hrs.” She followed her hit with covers of Usher’s “U Got It Bad” and “Lovers and Friends.”
Later that night, Lucky Daye gracefully delivered “Love You Too Much,” “Guess,” and “Late Night.” Before Ms. Lauryn closed the event with “Doo Wop (That Thing)” and “Killing Me Softly,” Summer Walker drew heart strings with “Playing Games,” “Session 32,” and “Insane.”
The Strength of A Woman Festival and Summit is meant to “elevate, educate, and empower women worldwide to reach their highest potential.”
