T-Pain seemingly paid his respects to all the producers out there on Mother’s Day via Twitter.
“The producers are the ones that deserve all the clout because y’all really don’t be liking these songs, y’all really just like the beats. When you hear a certain producer’s tag you don’t give a fuck who’s on it because you know you gon like the beat,” T-Pain penned. “Give them they flowers fr.”
The reason behind this statement stems from many factors, including the hip-hop industry steering their focus more on the artists and not the creatives who provide the sound for them to lay down their vocals. This topic has been brought up before in 2016 and 2017. Yet not too many spoke up on this issue.
Interestingly enough though, XXL went on to shout out some producers last year who, they felt, have been putting in work. The list includes: Hit-Boy, Metro Boomin, Jetsonmade, The Alchemist, SethInTheKitchen, J. White Did It, and Wheezy, to name a few.
