Spring is in the air and the Tribeca Film Festival proves it! The festival which is held each Spring in New York City has announced an in-person return, in time to commemorate its 20th anniversary. The festival showcases, “great stories from the greatest storytellers.” The 12 day event will take place from June 9 – June 20, 2021.
After having to postpone last year’s event in the wake of Covid-19, festival Co-Founder, Robert De Niro says,
“The Tribeca Film Festival was born out of our mission to bring people together in the aftermath of 9/11. We’re still doing it … And as New York emerges from the shadow of COVID-19, it seems just right to bring people together again in-person for our 20th anniversary festival.”
Per the official website, “Tribeca Festival is working together with the New York State Department of Health to ensure all public gatherings follow COVID-19 safety protocols.” To stay informed with festival updates, sign up for their newsletter here.
