Despite announcing that he’s retiring, The Game plans to drop another project in the near future. The LP, called Drillmatic– Mind Vs. Heart will be The Game’s first album since 2019. He announced this exciting news via Instagram.
In the post, you’ll see The Game holding his son while wearing an NWA chain. “June 17th, 2022,” he wrote in the caption. Additionally, the rapper unveiled that the world-famous producer, Hit-Boy, will lay out the sonic foundation for his bars. Earlier this month, The Game expressed his future project’s impact.
“I know my album gone be the best album of 2022 cause the energy feels like I just signed my deal. You’ve never heard me rap like this, I promise you,” he said.
Hit-Boy also hinted at the album during his time on Sway In The Morning. During their sit down, the producer showed the host an unreleased track from himself and The Game that could potentially be on Drillmatic.
