The Game honored the memory of Kobe Bryant in a big way.
The 40-year-old rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, shared photos of his new face tattoo that memorialized the late Lakers star in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were laid to rest over the weekend following their tragic death in a helicopter crash on January 26. The star was photographed getting inked above his eyebrow with a black number eight, which is positioned sideways to mimic and infinity symbol. A white drop shadow gives the numeral some depth over a scrolling design in the same black ink and the font of the ‘8’ matches Kobe’s Lakers jersey.
In another shot, the hip hop star is seen mid-tattoo session in a purple LA Lakers hoodie under a jersey, presumably a Kobe Bryant one. This brought us to tears. RIP Kobe & Gianna Bryant
