The Weeknd made an animated debut in American Dad! in 2020. And now it seems like he’s taking his acting talents to another popular cartoon series. On Sunday, the famous singer appeared as an illustrated version of himself in The Simpsons. He plays a child influencer and Bart Simpson’s friend.
It’s a dream come true because during an interview with Vanity, he said:
“American Dad was everything I wanted. It will be hard to beat this in the TV cartoon world, but an obvious bucket list would be to work on The Simpsons. That would be a dream – and if they’re reading this, I have a pretty cool idea if they’re down.”
Needless to say, it all worked in his favor.
