Fans have been wanting an XO x 999 collaboration for some time now, and they are finally getting it! The Weeknd announced on Tuesday, August 4th that he will be releasing a posthumous collaboration with Juice WRLD on Thursday night. There has been a lot of anticipation behind this release, as Juice WRLD tweeted back in September 2019 that he and The Weeknd would make a Diamond record:
This will be The Weeknd’s first release since he dropped his fourth studio album After Hours earlier this year and Juice Wrld’s first release since his posthumous album Legends Never Die. There are definitely some big expectations for this collaboration, as fans are imagining what it could sound like.
