Tim Burton’s ‘Wednesday’ Trailer Reveals Uncle Fester In Netflix Series

A new trailer for Netflix’s upcoming horror series, Wednesday, dropped over the weekend at Comic Con. In the latest preview, fans noticed that Fred Armisen will play the role of Uncle Fester. The 8-episode series premieres on November 23, 2022.

Described as a “sleuthing, supernaturally-infused mystery,” Wednesday will star Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Victor Dorobantu, Isaac Ordonez, and George Burcea. The show takes admiration from the 1991 film, The Addams Family.

The synopsis elaborates on Wednesday, saying

“The series will chart the titular heroine’s years as a student at the peculiar Nevermore Academy as she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability.

While also thwarting a monstrous killing spree terrorizing the local town and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships of the strange and diverse student body.”
