Tina Fey will star in the series adaption of the romantic comedy film The Four Seasons. Variety states that Fey is the show’s co-creator with Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield. The three previously worked together on the NBC series 30 Rock. Being on The Four Seasons will be Fey’s first starring role since being on 30 Rock.
The Four Seasons comprises eight episodes, and its production will start later this year. The original film was released in 1981.
The Four Seasons is about three upper-middle-class married couples in New York City who take vacations with each other during each of the seasons. It stars Carol Burnett, Len Cariou, Sandy Dennis, Rita Moreno, Jack Weston, and Bess Armstrong.
