Fans have been hyped for a sequel to Travis Scott‘s JACKBOYS album, and now it’s been officially confirmed. The word about the Houston rapper’s album spread like wildfire after he posted a visual of purple text flashing on the side of a building. The first message “What the f*ck are we doing?” was followed by the text JACKBOYS 2 is on the way.

JACKBOYS is a collaborative album that features artists signed to his record label, Cactus Jack Records. Classified as a spacey. psychedelic trap project, it broke a record of being the first No. 1 Billboard album in 2020, despite debuting in 2019. The project includes the hit singles “Highest in the Room” and “Franchise,” a collaboration with Young Thug and M.I.A, which also hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
This isn’t the first time Travis Scott has teased JACKBOYS 2. At the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash in 2024, the Utopia rhymester gave his flowers to his labelmates before dropping news about the sequel.
“I’m nothing without Sheck Wes, I’m nothing without Don Toliver, I’m nothing without SoFaygo,” he stated. “I’m nothing without Chase B, I’m nothing without my gang members. [We’ve] been thinking about doing a JACKBOYS 2.”
His right-hand collaborator Don Toliver also dropped a minor hint about JACKBOYS 2‘s arrival after sharing the trailer for the original JACKBOYS album on Instagram. More recently, Travis Scott was featured on Playboi Carti‘s album MUSIC. Fans can hear him on songs like “Crush,” “Philly,” WAKE UP F1LTHY,” and “Charge Dem H*es A Fee.”
