Although we probably won’t be hearing the joint album we were promised any time soon, we definitely will be hearing a lot more from Rap icons Trina and Trick Daddy. Despite their falling out on the Love & Hip Hop: Miami reunion, they will be launching a new morning radio show on Miami’s 99JAMZ/WEDR, which is set up to take over for the syndicated Rickey Smiley Morning Show.
The Jasmine Brand first reported the news back in June 2019, but after her performance at The Fillmore in Miami Beach, Florida on October 24, the Diamond Princess confirmed the news during an interview with The Miami Herald. “We were talking about it for a while and the opportunity came about to us so we just decided to say yeah,” Trina said.
“I want to see how the show brings us closer and then we’ll have that energy for the studio,” she concluded. Regardless of the album, their morning show is already highly-anticipated so be sure to keep an ear open for Miami’s dynamic duo and their upcoming ventures as the show makes its debut in 2020.
