According to Hot New Hip-Hop, “Wendy Williams is reportedly unable to book guests on her talk show due to her mean girl ways.”
The announcement follows after Wendy Williams gave her opinion on J.Lo and Shakira performing at next year’s Super Bowl LIV halftime show. In this YouTube clip, Wendy says:
“No offense to Shakira, but I think Jen could’ve handled this on her own. Just saying, because how long is the halftime show going to be? Jen’s got a lot of hits, Shakira’s got a lot of hits… I know more about Jen than I do about Shakira, although Shakira’s an international superstar, I just wish Jen’s performance wasn’t interrupted.”
Stressing her bully demeanor, the publications also put on record that Wendy took a shot at Jerry O’Connell (who was once a guest on her show) sending her condolences for his “failed” TV show. In reality, that’s a misconception because O’Connell’s show is still progressing.
The Wendy Williams Show has been consecutively running for 11 seasons. Aside from nabbing details from Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife, Nicole Murphy about her kiss with director, Antoine Fuqua. Williams also took this season for a whirl when she talked down on Iggy Azelias and downplayed the calm and collected rapper, Phora.
Referencing back to Hot New-Hop, it reads “Once Wendy got her green light to return for two more seasons, she didn’t have to play nice any longer and pretend she was onboard with Jerry’s show being her sibling show,” a source explained. “She always believed her executives were trying to groom Jerry to replace her and that pretend mix-up she did on air was her Wendy way of sabotaging Jerry.”
Needless to say, it’s been quite a year for the highly-opinionated talk show host. Everything is up in the air from now on.
