Honoring the legacy of the late Charles M. Schulz, the creator of Peanuts, a new documentary about the origin of Charlie Brown is coming to Apple TV+. Who Are You Charlie Brown? is coming to Apple TV+ on June 25. The documentary’s trailer was released three days ago.
Good Grief Charlie Brown, who are you?
The documentary is produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard and directed by Michael Bonfiglio and will be narrated by Lupita Nyong’o. The documentary features friends and family of the late Schulz, all talking about their love for the Peanuts comic. The comic strip previously ran from 1950 until 2000, when the cartoonist passed away.
In the beginning of the trailer you will see Charlie Brown staged in a school setting met with the challenge to write a 500 word essay about who he is. “Who am I?,” he says. The trailer looks amazing! The documentary looks like it will be another Charlie Brown favorite for all ages. What a great way to honor the legacy of Schulz.
Be sure to check it out on Apple TV+ on June 25.
