The second season for X-Men ’97 is still in its production stages. The titular character’s voice actor, Cal Dodd, spoke about the process via Twitter.
In a since-deleted video clip he posted, Wolverine can be heard saying, “Cal Dodd here; the voice of Wolverine from X-Men ’97 — the beginning of Season 2. I say, just the beginning. Strap your seatbelts on, bub. Later.”
X-Men ’97 is written by Beau DeMayo, the penman for Netflix’s spinoff of The Witcher. He’ll also oversee the show’s music selection. The show will reportedly use the original theme music from the iconic animated series X-Men.
