YG is working on a new album that’s coming right on the heels of “Scared Money (feat. J.Cole and Moneybagg Yo). The album, Pray For Me comes two years after My Life 4Hunnid. Last year, he did a collaborative LP with Mozzy called Kommunity Service.
The Compton-based rapper announced that his new album was on the way during an interview on Power 106’s Power Mornings. He said Pray For Me will focus on his evolution.
YG continued, “It’s just the growth of me, my headspace, what I’m on in life. And I think the whole pandemic shit, I hated it, but I also look at it as like this shit kinda helped me get to where I’m at mentally.”
He also said that this project will be “his truth as far as his life currently.”
