Yungeen Ace iterates why he’s the hottest rapper to come out of East Chicago in his single, “Back Like I Neva Left.”
Over a piano-driven ambient trap beat, Yungeen Ace iterates why he’s the “greatest n*gga to walk out Jacksonville.” He leaves an array of warning bars for the opps while also listing the things he’s accomplished thus far. Elsewhere, the “No Witness” curator speaks about staying on his P’s and Q’s. As one saying goes, “Nothing good ever comes from too many people knowing your business. Being private and lowkey is the best way to be.”
Using an energetic flow, he raps:
“Two to his head, one to the neck (Bang)/Shot so many times, I feel like 50, took up off my vest/Won’t let ’em know my next move, just know that shit gon’ be the best/That I ever made/I done spent so much money this year, n*gga, than you ever made/Money comin’ different, money generatin’.“
As the song continues, we get an earful of Yungeen Ace’s current lifestyle and his upbringing. The rapper also details his work ethic, saying he’s always on grind mode.
Right before the song closes, he flaunts on those who didn’t believe he would make it.
“Ace made it out, they like, “No way” (No way)/He done put everybody on, they like, “No way” (No way)/He carried the city on his back, boy made a way (Boy made a way)/Tuition in his street, boy payed a way (That boy payed a way).“
The music video, directed by TeoShotThis, finds Yungeen Ace decked out in the best drip while in a cemetery. He also links up with his day ones on the block, proving he’s as real as they come.
After announcing the title of his debut album, Life of Betrayal 2x, Ace has continued delivering heat off his upcoming album like “Opp Boyz,” “Gun Em Down,” and “All In All.” Following these massive releases, Ace dropped the viral masterpiece “Who I Smoke” featuring Spinabenz, Whoppa Wit Da Choppa, and FastMoney Good, which has racked up over 17M+ views to date.
Ace’s upcoming debut album Life of Betrayal 2x follows his project Don Dada, which dropped in June 2020 and included an exclusive feature from the late King Von. Beyond his individual releases, the Jacksonville artist has also shown love to other artists, recently appearing on the “Live On Remix” with NUSKI2SQUAD and G Herbo.
