A show that most Gen X’s and Millenials adored is coming back. But not in the way they assume.
According to Variety, Nickelodeon is turning the series Zoey 101 into a film titled Zoey 102. The movie will see the return of Jamie Lynn Spears, Erin Sanders, Sean Flynn, Matthew Underwood, Christopher Massey, Abby Wilde, and Jack Salvatore.
The original series, Zoey 101, debuted in 2005, running for 4 seasons.
According to the synopsis, the purpose of Zoey 102 is to “reintroduce fans to the Pacific Coast Academy alumni as they reunite for a wedding in the present day.“
Airing exclusively on Paramount+, the upcoming flick is already in its production stages.
Spears stated
“I’m beyond thrilled to be back alongside my PCA family and continue the story of Zoey and all the characters fans know and love. As an executive producer, it’s been an exciting opportunity to work with such incredible talent as well as Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.”
