2 Chainz plans on dropping an album sometime this month. The project, Dope Don’t Sell Itself, is a follow-up to the anniversary edition of his mixtape T.R.U. REALigion. In July, 2 Chainz said that his new project will be his last trap project via Twitter.
To announce his project, 2 Chainz posted a picture of himself wearing a Stone Cold Steve Austin t-shirt.
“Hey you, how you been!? It’s been a minute, I know, but im back with something new and exotic,” 2 Chainz wrote as the picture’s caption. “You know I ain’t been around this long without being a thinker, and a constant student & teacher of the game my album’ DOPE DONT SELL ITSELF’ drops this month and single drops this week.”
2 Chainz plans on dropping both efforts really soon.
