The second installment to Netflix’s The Witcher is returning to the small screens.
Under the alias, The Witcher: Blood Origin, the fantasy series “tells the story lost to time — the creation of the first prototype Witcher,” as per its synopsis.
The show is also said to show viewers “events that lead to the pivotal ‘conjunction of the spheres,’ when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.”
This time another set of actors will star in The Witcher: Laurence O’Fuarain, Michelle Yeoh, and Sophia Brown. The other cast members are Minnie Driver, Lenny Henry, Mirren Mack, Nathaniel Curtis, Dylan Moran, Jacob Collins-Levy, Huw Novelli, Francesca Mills, Zach Wyatt, Lizzie Annis, and Amy Murray.
The exclusive six-part series will premiere on Sunday, December 25, at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT. It was created by Andrzej Sapkowski.
