Disney+ and Disney Junior intend to drop Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures on May 4th, 2023. The streaming platform and Lucasfilm made the announcement on Thursday. Subsequently, Disney+ dropped behind-the-scenes photos for the series. In the first picture, Master Yoda Kai, Lys, Nubs, and their friends, Nash and RJ-83, can be seen on the planet Tenoo. The second image sees Lys, Kai, and Nubs during training, with their lightsabers out for practice.
According to ComingSoon, “Young Jedi Adventures will follow original stories of Younglings — young Jedi recruits — as they are swept into a world of adventure and begin their journies on the path to becoming full Jedi Knights.”
As per the synopsis, “The series will see the Younglings grappling with various topics, including compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship.”
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures is the first full-length animated Star Wars series for children. It’s also the first series set in The High Republic era. This era started 200 years before the events of the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
