In this action-comedy, she plays a former CIA operative who decides to leave her dangerous lifestyle behind in favor of a more peaceful family life. However, her plans are shattered when her covert identity is compromised, pulling her back into the dangerous world she thought she had left behind.

The release of the trailer comes over a year after rumors circulated suggesting that Jamie played a significant role in Diaz’s decision to step away from the limelight after they completed filming Annie in 2014. Reports allege that Foxx experienced a “meltdown” on set, which led to the dismissal of an executive producer, two directors, and even his driver.

Furthermore, a source close to Diaz revealed to the Daily Mail that the Something About Mary star is deeply averse to the “drama and confrontation” often associated with the entertainment industry, especially as she balances her career with motherhood, raising her 3-year-old daughter, Raddix, with her husband, Benji Madden.
“This is precisely the reason she chose to step back from the industry in the first place,” the insider elaborated at that time. “Cameron has already established her legacy in Hollywood and feels she has nothing further to prove to anyone.”
