The Karate Kid saga is ending after running for 40 years. The sixth and final season of Cobra Kai has been released in three parts over the past few months, with a total of 15 episodes. The first two parts are already on Netflix, and the last five episodes will drop on February 13th. Ten days before the release of Cobra Kai‘s final episodes, Netflix dropped the last trailer for the series, giving fans a preview of the intense tournament that will bring the series to its conclusion. The last episodes of Cobra Kai pick up after the Sekai Taikai, which ended abruptly when a young competitor was killed during a fight. Now, the tournament is set to return to the Valley for its finale, taking place at the same venue where Daniel defeated Johnny almost 40 years ago.
“After a shocking turn at the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do, and Cobra Kai must confront their pasts and face an uncertain future, both on and off the mat,” the logline states. “Nearly four decades after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, everything has led to this moment.”
