A brand-new teaser trailer has arrived for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Set in the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine, the clip sees Meryl Streep’s iconic character Miranda Priestly strutting her red pumps to the elevator as Madonna’s “Vogue” plays in the background. Before the doors close, Anne Hathaway’s Andy Sachs walks in and greets her headache of a boss. “Took you long enough,” Streep says, showcasing their lingering tension.
Based on the book with the same name, The Devil Wears Prada sees Hathaway’s character Andy Sachs working for Miranda Priestly, a horrid boss and the editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, Runway, in the first movie. The Devil Wears Prada 2, on the other hand, finds Priestly dealing with the print magazine business plummeting. Her other former assistant, played by Emily Blunt, is now a powerful advertising executive who works with Runway.
