During a recent interview with No Jumper, Matt Ox unveiled to Adam22 that Drake was interested in buying his song “Messages.” But, the “Pull Up” rapper declined, even when there was money on the line.
“Drake tried to buy my song first,” Ox recalls. “He was tryna pay us $150 thousand bro.” Then, he went on to say that Drake wanted to prevent the song from releasing. “I said no,” he repeated.
Ox also clarified that the 6 God himself didn’t contact him. OB O’Brien from the OVO camp was the person who reached out to Ox. Ox only said no because he thought it was fake. Still, the 15 year old isn’t against collaborating with Drake. Going bar for bar with Drake would be “super lit,” according to any emerging artist.
