Donald Glover and Phoebe Waller-Bridge are uniting for an epic reboot of the 2005 hit film Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The film turned series is expected to make its big debut on the streaming platform Amazon Prime in 2022.
The duo, Waller-Bridge and Glover, will team up for an action packed escape fueled by passion. Both Emmy winners are well known for creating and starting in their own material. Waller-Bridge is best known as the creator, head-writer, and star of the BBC series Fleabag. While Glover, the multitalented actor, singer, comedian, and writer is best known for his work in Atlanta. Both of these creative minds are sure to produce something magical by collaborating in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
The original Mr. & Mrs. Smith grossed $487 million when released in 2005. New Regency is expected to add their flair by also producing the reboot. They are well known for their blockbuster films ranging from classics such a Pretty Woman, and 12 Years a Slave. It goes without say that this series is will be a highly streamed hit. Little is known about the highly anticipated series, but it goes without say that this will the yet another success!
