The trailer for Lionsgate’s upcoming thriller Amber Alert gives viewers a preview of the film and shows Hayden Panettiere in the starring role. Amber Alert is helmed by writer-director Kerry Bellessa.
“I can definitely say that I’ll never look at an Amber Alert the same way again after filming this movie,” Panettiere told People.
Amber Alert finds Jaq, played by Hayden Panettiere, and Shane, played by Tyler James Williams, on the hunt for a culprit behind an Amber Alert after seeing the person’s described car behind them.
“An ordinary rideshare becomes a high-stakes game of cat and mouse when Jaq and Shane receive an alert of a child abduction on their phones,” the logline reads. “Quickly realizing they are behind a car that matches the description of the kidnappers, Jaq and Shane desperately race against time to save the child’s life.”
The movie will debut digitally and in theaters on September 27, 2024.
