The Black Messiah star Amber Chardae Robinson is set to star in AppleTV+’s upcoming series, Mrs. American Pie. Robinson will act as a feminist and Linda’s business partner, Virginia. The original American Pie installment aired in 1999.
Mrs. American Pie, according to Deadline, is about Maxine Simmons, who puts in efforts to secure her seat at Palm Beach High Society.
The series was created by Laura Dern and Jayme Lemons. Abe Sylvia is in charge of the script’s production.
