After several hesitations and a few words from Wendy’s twitter handle, Diddy has finally made the announcement that Making the Band will be coming back!
It all came to him while he was “hiking and horse back riding,” that he would introduce a newly evolved version of #MTB in 2020. This time not only focusing on the United States , but expanding the opportunity globally.
“So it’s official Making The Band 2020 is back and we are doing a global talent search. That means if you are from India, Zimbabwe, Russia, China, Korea, Africa Saudi Arabia… if you have a talent and you wanna be seen, you wanna be heard we’re doing it simple, we’re doing it social by design. It’s a different time….”
#MTB was first released in 2000-2001 on ABC with Lou Pearlman and ventured on to MTV 2002 – 2009 with Diddy. It created bands , such as, O-Town, Danity Kane, Da Band, and Day26.
