Dylan Sprouse has officially been cast in the film titled After We Collided, the sequel to the film After, which hit theaters earlier this year. Both movies are based on books authored by Anna Todd, and both books are based on Todd’s One Direction fan fiction.
After is the first book in a five-part series that follows Tessa Young, a college student who falls in love with Hardin Scott, a bad boy said to be inspired by One Direction’s Harry Styles, hence the same initials. Each book in the series was based on fan fiction Todd published on the site Wattpad back in 2014 while the film adaptation wasn’t released until April 2019, starring Josephine Langford as Tessa and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin as Hardin.
Sprouse will be playing one of Tessa’s coworkers, named Trevor, whom Hardin really doesn’t like, which earned him the nickname “F—ing Trevor.” Director Roger Kumble, known for his work on Furry Vengeance and Cruel Intentions, is taking the lead on After We Collided, but it does not yet have a release date.
