In F1, Brad Pitt’s character, Sonny Hayes, undergoes a significant transformation. He starts as a retired Formula One driver, forced to quit after a tragic accident. However, he re-discovers his love for racing when he is asked to mentor an emerging young driver, Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris.
The trailer finds Sonny explaining a racing strategy over a dark screen to what seems to be his love interest. From there, scenes from the racetrack emerge and highlight the film’s action-packed theme as Pearce and Hayes go at full speed against competitors on the road.
