An official trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ Final Destination: Bloodlines, the latest installment in the iconic horror series, has premiered. Set to hit theaters on May 16, 2025, Final Destination: Bloodlines follows a college student named Stefanie who goes on a mission to prevent her family’s imminent death after having an ongoing nightmare.
“The newest chapter in the gruesomely successful franchise takes audiences back to the origins of Death’s twisted sense of justice,” the logline reads. “Haunted by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie returns home to seek out the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the horrific fate that looms over them all.”
The trailer offers an exclusive look at the star-studded cast which includes Kaitlyn Santa Juana (The Friendship Game), Teo Briones (Chucky), Richard Harmon (The Age of Adaline), Owen Patrick Joyner (Julie and the Phantoms), Anna Lore (Gotham Knights), and Brec Bassinger (Stargirl). The film also marks the final on-screen appearance of the late Tony Todd (Candyman), who passed away in 2024 at 69-years-old.

Todd first played William Bludworth in the 2000 Final Destination movie and reprised his role in future films within the series, including 2003’s Final Destination 2, 2006’s Final Destination 3, and 2011’s Final Destination 5.
Final Destination: Bloodlines is based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick. The screenplay is written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, with production led by Craig Perry, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts, and Toby Emmerich. David Siegel and Warren Zide serve as executive producers. Meanwhile, the film is directed by the filmmaking duo Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein.
The Final Destination franchise has amassed a worldwide box office gross of over $660 million since it hit the big screen in 2000. The first film, starring Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, and Seann William Scott, focuses on a group of people who barely escaped a plane crash after one of them had a premonition. After discovering that Death doesn’t like its fate changed, each survivor faces their ultimate end in unexpected and elaborate ways.
