The winners at the 2024 BET Awards, hosted by Taraji P. Henson, were revealed after it took place on Sunday night at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The show started with the four Primetime Emmy Awards actress adding flair to Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us.”

Tyla delivered a stunning performance alongside Jamaican dancehall artist Skillibeng and rapper Gunna. She was honored with the first award of the evening for Best International Act and later received the night’s top prize for Best New Act. Congratulations to Tyla on this well-deserved recognition!
Following the successful debut of the awards show, Usher was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his musical career. Throughout the show, he was named the Best Male R&B Artist and also the Best Male Pop Artist. Additionally, SZA, who was unfortunately not present, was awarded Best Female R&B/Pop Artist.
Winners at the 2024 BET Awards
During the prestigious award show, Killer Mike was announced as the winner of the Album of the Year for his album Michael. Victoria Monét claimed a BET Award and secured the Best Video of the Year trophy for “On My Mama.” The award for Best Actress was presented to Regina King, who was unfortunately not present to accept her accolade.
Several winners were announced at the 2024 BET Awards winners, but due to several genres not being included in the live telecast, they were not part of the broadcast.
