Scoop of the Day
Hey feature followers! The Joker movie has finally been released after a lengthy wait, and the digital version will be available soon, so stay tuned for updates. Unfortunately, the film’s ratings have been quite low, largely due to many Marvel fans not resonating with its concept. Joker: Folie à Deux received disappointing scores, which affected its box office performance, causing it to fall short of expectations as a popular hit.
Debut of the film
The movie’s debut was met with negative reactions, reflected in its dismal ratings of 33% from critics and 32% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. The Joker sequel has also been a box office flop, projected to lose between $150 million and $200 million by the end of its theatrical run. Shocking, isn’t it? This unexpected turn has surprised audiences and has left a significant impact on the MCU as well. Many fans were disappointed, especially considering that the 2019 Joker film grossed over $1 billion worldwide.
@Variety ✨
According to Variety, it has been confirmed that the Joker film is set to be released on home entertainment on October 29th. This comes sooner than expected, likely due to the disappointing ratings of the film, which presents a potential opportunity for recovery.
In comparison, the first sequel was released on October 4th, 2019, but it didn’t become available on digital platforms until more than two months later, on December 17th. For now, Joker: Folie à Deux continues its run in theaters.
Although we can’t be certain if the digital release will help salvage the film, we’ll have to wait and see what happens. Hopefully, it will make some progress and boost the film’s position on the charts.
