According to film critic Jeff Sneider’s site, The InSneider, The Punisher actor Jon Bernthal will reportedly star in the new season of AMC’s The Terror. Bernthal is allegedly negotiating his terms to play a character named Pepper in the show’s third season.
Bernthal is recognized for his roles in movies like The Wolf of Wall Street and, more recently, Ava DuVernay’s Origin. AMC and Bernthal have worked together on two seasons of The Walking Dead. In the series, he played Shane Walsh.
The Terror debuted on AMC in March of 2018. The second season, titled Infamy, dropped in August of 2019.
According to Deadline, The Terror follows Pepper, who is a working class man with bad luck and a bad temper. After being wrongfully admitted to the New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital, Pepper must fight against the patients and doctors who are working against him.

“As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face down the entity that thrives on the suffering within New Hyde’s walls – but doing so may prove that the worst demons of all live inside him.”
