Saturday Night Live celeb Kenan Thompson is receiving his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His ceremony, scheduled later this month, will signify his marking as the 2,728th star from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Hollywood Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez considers the comedian the voice of a generation.
As per Vlad TV, she continued:
“From ‘Kenan and Kel’ to ‘Saturday Night Live,’ Kenan has been making folks laugh for nearly 30 years. In celebration of his upcoming 20th anniversary on SNL, we thought it would be fitting to place Kenan’s star next to the star of the man who gave him his job, Lorne Michaels.”
Thompson has starred in shows like All That and Kenan & Kel. He’s also acted in The Mighty Ducks franchise, Good Burger, and more. More recently, he created his show for NBC called Kenan. The show ran for two seasons before being canceled by the network.
