The original series STAR featuring Ryan Destiny, Queen Latifah, Luke James and Quincy Brown was declared cancelled after 3 seasons.
Although the fans were outraged with FOX for not renewing the show, Lee Daniels took it upon himself to reach out to his fan base via IG on June 7th and explained that “it was all business,” promising that “we will get some closure to STAR.”
Well Lee Daniels has kept his promise! On Instagram yesterday he posted both bad news and good news, that although STAR didn’t get picked up for another season, they will be doing a movie of the week containing all of the cast members, even the dead ones!
Make sure you tune in for the last episode because according to Daniels it will be a “two hour GAG!”
