This marks the sixth chapter in the acclaimed series from the Louisiana-born rapper, though details about the project remain scarce for now.Wayne kicked off the Carter saga with the debut album in 2004, followed by Tha Carter II in 2005, Tha Carter III in 2008, and Tha Carter IV in 2011. The fifth installment, originally slated for a 2014 release, faced numerous delays and was ultimately released in September 2018.
Since the debut of Tha Carter V, Lil Wayne has dropped a series of noteworthy projects, including No Ceilings 3, Funeral, Trust Fund Babies, Tha Fix Before tha VI, and Welcome 2 Collegrove.
