Because Creed III is making its way to the movie theaters on Friday, the cast members are stepping into the premieres in style. Just yesterday, Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Mila Davis-Kent, and Phylicia Rashad stepped foot on the red carpet in Los Angeles. They were joined by Selenis Leyva, Spence Moore II, Thaddeus James Mixson, Jr., and José Benavidez.
Creed III is Jordan’s directorial debut and the third installment to the booming franchise. The screenplay and storyline are created by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin. Ryan Coogler also played a part in the writing process.
In other related Creed III news, Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler, Ryan Coogler, Michael B Jordan, Elizabeth Raposo, Jonathan Glickman, and Sylvester Stallone serve as producers. The executive producers are Sev Ohanian, Zinzi Coogler, Nicolas Stern, Adam Rosenberg.
As per the synopsis, Creed III follows Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan), who is killing it in the career and family department. After a former boxing legend and childhood friend (Jonathan Majors) is released from prison, Creed jumps at the opportunity to show him why he’s a great candidate to hop in the ring with.
“The face off between former friends is more than just a fight,” the synopsis continues. “To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian – a fighter with nothing to lose.”
