Moneybagg Yo is showing all his haters and naysayers what a life of real luxury looks (and sounds) like by recruiting DaBaby and City Girls for a new “Said Sum” remix along with a new visual.
JT opened up the remix spitting pure fire over a few bars about the finer things in life — Lamborghini cars and G-Wagon Jeeps — while DaBaby follows up with a silky smooth verse. Yung Miami then comes through with a verse about her expensive jewelry, pink diamonds, and the Florida duo’s label, Quality Control, letting everyone know, “QC the clique we rich as a [ish].
The accompanying BENM/RC-directed clip shows the Memphis rapper reading an article from the Moneybagg Times, as JT and Yung Miami are captured flaunting high-end cars as they rap, “You broke a– b—-, you ain’t sayin’ nothin’ / When I hold up my wrist, it’s sayin’ somethin.'”
DaBaby delivers his verse on a golden throne, in a golden room, as a group of beautiful women shower him with money.
“Said Sum” took social media and radio stations by storm when it was released in June from Moneybagg’s latest album, Code Red, which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. But, what truly “broke the internet” was this lavish new video, which has gained over 52 million views on YouTube.
