Sony will be setting to release a new animated movie alongside the NBA All-Star Stephen Curry.
The All-Star champ and the two-time ranking MVP will be involved, giving us quite a show! It seems that Sony Pictures Animation is aiming for success with a new animated sports-themed feature that will have Stephen Curry as a producer.

The media has been informed that the studio has officially announced the premiere of the original movie “GOAT” on Thursday (May 30th) which will be scheduled to be released on February 13th, 2026.
At that time, the NBA All-Star festivities will take place in Los Angeles during the same weekend. If you haven’t been informed yet, get ready, because this even is going to be massive!
Tyree Dillihay, an Emmy Nominee known for directing numerous TV shows, my personal favorite, Bob Burgers! This comedy sequel will involve co-director Adam Rosette, featuring Orion and the Dark, with the script penned by Teddy Riley and Aaron Buchabum.
Dillihay also went on to share a message, stating:
“As a longtime fan of animation, ‘Sports Go’ is my dream project. We have a modern take on a classic story set in a rich, new world where amazing things happen. I couldn’t ask for a better team of collaborators to help bring this experiential event to life.” ✨
